Terms of Service

Using Prompt Pie
These terms apply when you use Prompt Pie and the optional ppie companion. By using them, you agree to use them lawfully and responsibly. Prompt Pie is published by Jeremy Rojas.
You are responsible for the prompts, skills, commands, and other material you add, import, copy, publish, or share. You must have the rights needed to use and share that material. Prompt Pie stores imported content as text and does not run imported scripts.
Local canvases and ppie pairing
Signed-out canvases are stored in your browser. You are responsible for keeping that browser profile and device available if you want to retain the canvas. Clearing site data can remove it.
ppie pairing is an optional connection between this browser and ppie on your computer's loopback address. Your browser may request Local Network Access. By pairing, you authorize the connected companion to create, update, and retrieve prompts from the connected local canvas until the session expires or is disconnected. Review what you pair and disconnect a companion when you no longer want it connected.
Accounts, cloud canvases, and paid plans
Signing in creates or uses a Supabase-backed account. Cloud canvases and public Pie links are associated with that account. Keep your account credentials secure and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Paid plans and subscription checkout are handled through Lemon Squeezy. Any purchase is also subject to the checkout information and terms presented there. Plan availability, limits, and prices may change as described at checkout or in the product.
Connected apps
A connected app can use the cloud document actions shown during authorization while its grant, your eligible plan, and the related Prompt Pie capabilities remain active. Review the app name and requested identity access before approval. You can revoke a grant from Connected Apps in Settings.
Connected apps receive prompt and skill content as untrusted text. You remain responsible for reviewing requested document changes, keeping your own copies of important material, and protecting access to your connected accounts.
Sharing and published links
Encrypted snapshot share links are bearer links: someone who receives a complete link can open the encrypted content. Prompt Pie does not currently set an expiration date or provide an in-product deletion control for these snapshot records. Do not use a snapshot link when you need a guaranteed revocation date.
A published Pie link can expose its linked canvas content to anyone who has the URL. You can turn a published Pie link off or delete it through the app. You remain responsible for deciding whether content is suitable to share and for honoring any obligations you have to people whose information is included.
A document share exposes one pinned prompt or skill revision to anyone with its unlisted URL. You can revoke the link, and deleting the source document revokes its active links. Eligible recipients can fork the pinned revision into an independent document under their own account. The shared revision and each existing fork stay unchanged after later source edits.
Service availability
Prompt Pie is provided as available. Features can change, pause, or end, including for security, maintenance, legal, or operational reasons. Keep your own copies of important content. To the extent allowed by law, Prompt Pie does not guarantee uninterrupted service or that it will meet every use case.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after an updated date means the updated terms apply. For questions, use the Prompt Pie issue tracker linked below. Please keep encryption keys, share links, passwords, and other secrets out of support messages.
